A rapper and artist from Harlem, New York. A core member of the hip-hop collective A$AP Mob, which includes A$AP Rocky, he has been a key figure in the crew originally founded by the late A$AP Yams. A$AP Mob is active across various fields, including music, fashion, and art.
In 2013, he made his solo debut with the album Trap Lord, which reached the top 10 on the Billboard 200. His second album, Always Strive and Prosper (2016), also peaked at No. 8 in the U.S. Known for his tight lyricism and melodic flow, he has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Ariana Grande.
Since 2021, he has been using the name "FERG" for his solo work. In 2024, he released Darold, his first album in nearly four years, featuring guest appearances from Future, Denzel Curry, and more. With introspective tracks like "Pool," he delves deep into his personal experiences, solidifying his role as a leading force in the evolving hip-hop scene.
